China tells its military...
… to ready for conflict with the united states.
thoughts? I think they wont come here. they cant but they know we take it to the enemy and if we do I think we might be impossible for us to win on their soil. if they came here most of their fleet would be sunk and if they landed then they would have to deal with around 18 million disgruntle veterans, many of whom are combat vets with no rules of engagement. I think the last thing they want is that old Korean war vet who still has a grudge against the Chinese or the Vietnam vet whose war is still raging in their head, or the current vets with knowledge of ieds. then all the gun owners in general. bad idea to come here china...

All of our computers, cell phones and electronics came from China. They own half our banks, corporations and real estate. The worms are already in place.
They can shut us down in a matter of minutes, any time they want.

First off, I have little faith in the accuracy of that reporting. Having said that, anyone who harbors any belief that China would attempt a military invasion of CONUS needs a Xanax prescription. There is zero chance that a Chinese invasion fleet would steam to the West Coast undiscovered. Zero. And any armada of the size needed for that doesn’t exist in the People's Liberation Army Navy.
At a minimum, any conflict that potentially could arise between the United States and the PRC would likely be localized to the South China Sea, unless the PRC attempted an invasion of Taiwan. But even that is unlikely. The blow to the Chinese economy that would be precipitated by war with the US makes any armed conflict with America highly unlikely.
Whether the PRC’s leadership deliberately misled the world as to the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic will come to light fully one day. Regardless, the Chinese teat is in the wringer, and that is something they do not take kindly to. So they will protest, and deflect, and take action against “undesirables” inside China to suppress any negativity. But an invasion of the US? That’s crazy talk.

With 3/4 of Congress (and past Presidents) on their payroll...
I'm surprised they haven't steamed up the Mississippi River by now???

The only invasion of the US that can happen is the one our immigration policies of the past have allowed.
What better way to keep your armed forces on their toes than to make them think war is immanent and we're the scariest boogey man out there.
Yes they can really hurt our economy by stopping all trade, but they'd hurt themselves at the same time.
The real danger is for them to perceive us as weakened or indecisive and then make a play for Taiwan. Even if we COULD stop it, how long would the US population put up with tens of thousands of GI deaths on Asian soil? Sound familiar?

They have already invaded and are close to having won. We let them, out of personal greed and a poor work ethic. It started in the 90's.
Even if Trump were elected for 3 more terms, I doubt we will ever be the autonomous nation we once were.

This is a very interesting topic, and one that NEEDS be discussed and thought out.
If a war broke out between the United States and China (likely a Chinese/Russian alliance) it's hard to fathom how crazy things would get. One thing is certain, we would be badly outnumbered in terms of men and likely materiel. We (presumably) would have a technological advantage, though to what degree our politicians have sold our military secrets to the Chinese over the years is probably unknown, so our tech edge may not be as great as we think.
IF the Chinese managed to get an invasion force over here, the citizens with guns is what would cause them the most problems. Partisan warfare is the bane of an armies existence. Whether there are veterans about (particularly Korean War and Vietnam vets who are in their 70s, 80s, and 90s would be a total non-factor) would hardly matter except perhaps to help organize and train partisans. I assume the OP was joking about the value there.
We make a big mistake assuming the Chinese can't land troops here. Likely? No. Impossible? No. Who says they need a fleet to get here? Gotta think outside the box on this one. The Chinese are. They could field a massive ground force. Tens of millions, easy. A hundred million? Who knows. And they don't give a damn about their troops. Send farmers armed with pitch forks up a hilltop into machine gun and artillery fire? Sure, why not. They've done it before. I put nothing past those people.

What about large containers ships loaded with chinese troops, with anti aircraft guns, missiles, etc? They may not win but they will at least create huge mess. Or maybe take control of cargo ships at sea and divert?

I tell you one thing. China holds a lot of our debt, most of it. With the losses incurred by us and the whole world over this Covid crap I would tell Xi right off,, "hey Xi, you know all that money you think we owe you?" "Well, you can just go take a flying you know what at a rolling donut for it!".
Don't even ask cause you ain't getting it back!!
To hell with them. Created the worst event the world has seen since World War II.
