In October of 1966, I was issued my first M14. This was at basic training at Ft Campbell, KY. I shot expert on M14 qualifying range. My military career ended 31 years later in 1997. I love my country.

Welcome aboard Conatser 1947, pull up an old ammunition crate and sit awhile. This here Gun Board is a great place for information on our beloved M14 Battle rifle and military surplus ammunition for feeding her. Again welcome aboard and have yourself a great week neighbor. Thank you for your service to our country, America is better off because of you. Heroism is endurance for just one moment more.

Thank you for your service 🫡
Welcome from North Carolina. You have no idea what you’re in for concerning the M14/ M1A platform, they just multiply in your gun safe quicker than rabbits do, don’t ask me how I know that one 😉. This is a very helpful and informative forum for just about anything that you can think of, but mainly the M14/ M1A. Ask any and all questions that you have and you’ll get answers from the experts. Check out all the different threads here, but you better get comfortable in your chair first. Once you reach the “magical” number of 50 posts, you’ll have access to the PX (M14/ M1A goodies) and the BX (everything else you can possibly think of), and then be prepared for the severe beating that your banking account will take, ask anyone here about that one if you don’t believe me.

Welcome tto the family. Wow, talk about a full-circle gun journey — from downsizing to stocking up again. It’s interesting how preferences change over time, especially once you’ve tried a few different models. I’ve been there too, thinking I’d stop at one, then somehow the collection just grows. On a totally unrelated note, I was reading ourtime reviews recently since a buddy of mine asked about online dating sites. People’s experiences are all over the place
