Welcome.
Great place.
We have stayed at Wiamea Plantation for 20 years during September. Looks like a no/go for this year. Miss the canyon already.

Hmmm... And I have a Standard and a SOCOM, but no Scout... Gee, maybe we should swap?

Nice pictures - cool rifle. I have thought about a Scout or SOCOM for controlling wild hogs on our farm

I mean I need a SOCOM to complete the trifecta...would never let go of any M14 type rifle....

My favorite Rifle platform in the M14, the Socom is my hog rifle. I need to change out the Muzzle Brake for a Flash Hider, the muzzle flash shunts my NVG. The Scout is probably my least favorite configurations. My SHTF rifle of choice is an all TRW build in USGI Fiberglass, just irons. When the stuff hits the fan it won't be poodles we're shooting.

Here's my work in progress. 16 with the Smith gas lock adapter, bcm compensator, hammer, safety, safety spring, fg GI stock and handguard with a magpul foregrip, rear peep, and std front sight is currently all I've replaced.
I'm currently saving for a silencer and I'm on the lookout for bolt guts
