Those are USGI fiberglass and I call them my shop stocks. Most of my rifles start out in them because it's easy to put an action in and remove it for adjustments.
Haven't bitten a stock yet or butt stroked another Marine in the mouth, but who knows what may happen with food shortages in our future.
Art, if by some mistake, the Dems get the election in November, everything except maybe a cap pistol will become illegal. We will indeed be "living in interesting times."
Art, You have posted some impressive group pictures. Its also good to read you have 1 definitive favorite.
I'd like to show the wife the pic in OP. Then she may realize its not such a problem for me to have only 3 M14/M1As, and 3 M1 Garands, and maybe it would be okay for me to have 4 of each. After all, I do have 4 AR rifles and 4 lever rifles. But then again she doesn't know the head count and might put me on lock down from the forum and the LGS instead.
Thanks for sharing.
I'm good at keeping a straight face about my acquisitions around my home. (Used to be "all my acquisitions", until I saw Art's group.) Plus all the rifles look alike to my wife, and even with that said, she knows... We've been married 38 years this Friday.
Once upon a time in the 70s I had a '51 Harley Hydro-glide that she allowed me to bring into our bedroom through a sliding door and keep it there so I could start it to drive to work in the Wintertime. Since then no problems with my hobbies.
This is super cruel of you to brandish all them beautiful M14s!
I can't believe what I am seeing. Which one is your favorite?
Wrong question, which one do you sleep with?
All those butt plates look like a bunch of mini Darth Vaders on ski boards!!
"Luke, I am your father!"
