Blackfeather Chassis question

I have a silly question regarding the Blackfeather Chassis for those that may know the answer? The stock adapter is for the Magpul SGA. Is this based on the Mossberg or Remington version?

Will any stock that fits on the parent gun (Mossberg/Remington/etc) also fit the SGA adapter?

Boyds makes an adjustable At-One butt stock for Mossberg 500 and also Remington 870s. One would think if the Magpul stocks fit the adapter, the Boyds may as well?

Just not really a fan of Magpul. Think a Boyds At-One butt stock may be neat, especially for a scoped gun. Would have it painted as I'm not sure the laminated wood look would work well with the Blackfeather Chassis.

Awards Showcase

It's based off the Mossberg. If it fits a Mossberg 500, the stock should fit.

Tony.

Thanks Tony, that is good to hear. I had planned to reach out to you directly with a few questions and see about having you perform some work, but current events have me just sitting and waiting. Wife gave permission to buy/build/have built a new rifle after we settled into the new house. But the builder has closed up shop and it could be several months before they resume any activities. So now I'm just reading as much as I can. Your YouTube videos have been a great resource! Once the craziness does down I do intend to get with you regarding a rifle. I suppose you now know 2 components I'm interested in. Ha

On second thought, instead of painting it I could leave it and pair it with a pepper laminate handguard to tie the theme in across the whole rifle. Would probably look stupid, but maybe worth a try.

If it functions like you want it to, who cares what it looks like?!

I'm one of those weird people who like making their rifles look as good as they shoot. Unless the goal is a purposefully ugly rifle. Those are cool too.

Dang!!!! That's gonna look good with the handguard!!!! I didn't know they made that, good thinking outside the box. I've always said, "in a weird way, the M14 platform is MORE customizable than an AR."

I have an At-One stock on my Ruger 77/357. A bit heavy, but it looks good and rock solid. I ALWAYS get compliments at the range. It's a good answer for switching optics/irons.
