#3 in the USGI stock has been relieved in the gas cylinder area. Stock fit is perfect and providing good draw. Front band and stock ferule have been polished and grease applied. Gas cylinder/band is unitized.

#2 in the JAE has had the front band polished and greased.

Both have Sadlak spring guides.
Barrels have been reamed to 1.632 -1.633 or that neighborhood.

I really think the reason these shoot as good as they do is the attention to detail that Jeff and Bula Defense Systems has put into the creation of the parts.

Thanks from Snyper762 and tonyben

I was curious if anyone has tried one of these receivers in a Sage chassis. Do they work well with the machined scope mounts?

Check out the Bula website.
It is my understanding that they are designed to line up exactly with the SAGE rails.

Yeah, it's almost like they made it that way on purpose.

In the 4 and a half years since this thread was started there have been many additions to the collection and great strides in accuracy thanks to Bula coming out with their Ultra Heavy barrels in both .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor. With the .308 sub .75 moa groups are the norm and with the 6.5 Creedmoor .5 moa have been commonplace. Thanks again to Bula for their contributions to our fine hobby.

Current collection includes many variations of the M14 type rifle systems and some of the optics used.

Whatta Hobby!
