Handy little package there!

Excuse my inquiry but, what's that item clamped to the barrel?
Is that the SOCOM barrel mount with something installed on it?

I find your rifle intriguing and a SOCOM build is on my want list.

You have a very nice rifle.

Are you talking about the rails? If so it's a Midwest industries light and optics mount.

I run a weapon light and up until recently a Dbal on it.

Or if you are talking up top. It's a Midwest industries RMR mount

Gottcha.... I was referring to the RMR mount.
There is another mount that sits in place of the rear sight for mounting an RMR.
I personally don't like mounting things to the barrel but your rifle is still practical.
If your RMR goes down you still have irons available. For the light rail, I would definitively prefer a stock mounted rail.
Overall I'm still envying your SOCOM.

Lol it's actually not a socom. It's a scout squad.. the RMR is mainly a sight for my suppressor.
