Just came in from the Trumpisher's first range visit. Function fired 25 rnds. First 5 were at 50' to get the rough scope settings then moved to 100 yds for the next 20. Used my shop 4x Redfield on an old Bassett mount. Crosshairs cover the red up at 100 yds. Ammo is 136 gr fb over 45gr of 4064 in DAG cases. Temp 40 deg with range flag showing 1/2 to full moving between 8 to 10. I think this rifle might just be a decent shooter after it gets broken in.
Target on left was rnds 6 -16 on the new barrel. Right target was 16 - 26. Moved poi up and to the right for the right target. Needs just a tad more elevation next time to keep em all in the X.

Came out real nice.
When are you going to present it to the president?

Hit Don Jr up on instagram with a photo, he'll love it and will probably make sure 45 gets a pic.

No can do. No instagram, tweet, fb or any of those other new fangled places for an old guy to get lost. No smart phone even. Lost in the past and loving it.

Another beauty Art, and looks like it'll shoot.
Maybe you would let Stevie Ray post some for you too get his attention.
I'm thinking it might get lost or discarded in the White house mail.
That rifle deserves it and, POTUS will love it, and may re tweet it. (What ever that means LOL).

No problem with whatever you guys would like to do with the thread information.
Nothing classified here.
Never been shy about supporting the best President this country has ever seen.

Still working on the stock, an early SA walnut. Coming along nicely with BLO and maintaining the as issued appearance.

I was hoping you were not planning on sanding that nice of a stock.
