Keep us posted on the progess

Are you going to have a faux selector switch with "single" and "Pelosi" settings?
Selector switch will be slow fire and slower only.

Thanks Josh.
Completion on this one is not expected until the middle of next week.
I am waiting on a few specific parts I wanted to include.
Range report will be along.

Art you just keep topping yourself , a well planned , well executed bona fide ''Work of Art'' ,
it's the little innovative details tastefully done that set talent apart ,
especially planning , the choice of parts , the ones to accent & realizing
that less is more.
Progress reports please , I can't wait to see her stock.
Well Done Sir .

Thanks from nf1e

Thanks. Tracking says the stock should arrive on Tuesday. That, the barrel chosen and windage pinion are all that's left to collect and should be to my shop by this week.

Barrel and a few other small parts showed up today. Stock is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.
Today was an outside day. Finished cleaning up the garden and dumping 30 bags of composted cow manure on it. Next, probably in the morning will fire up the roto-tiller and get ready for planting. Managed to spin on and index the new barrel before quitting time.

Art your skills amaze me. Can’t wait for the finished product and the range report.

For you to spread manure in the morning and build a rifle from the ground up in the evening is something I can’t get my head around. In your post about spinning on the barrel and setting timing, I envisioned your wife saying “Art dinner is ready” and you saying “just a minute dear while I barrel this action”. Crazy.

Keep it up Sir!

Thanks from nf1e

Now, that would indeed be interesting. I have been doing all the cooking for over 30 years. Made the mistake of suggesting the wife do something different and she told me that if I thought I could do better, you cook. I enjoy cooking and it gives her more time to work in her glass art studio.

Thanks from hytekrednek

Got a SA walnut presentation grade stock in from Fred's yesterday. A little scrubbing with linseed oil and I think it might just work out.

Stamp is light, but it's still there.
