I fly the flag on the holidays and off an on depending on mood and the weather. I also try to attend the town flag raising when I can. The old guys appreciate having an audience.

Flag goes out....grill goes on.
The immediate family comes over and we have a low-stress visit. Looking forward to another one this year.

I don't have one of my own outside, but my town has them up and down the main arteries on telephone poles. Outside the pole at the foot of my driveway just so happens to have one, so I claim it as mine. My personal flag hangs in the living room...

Flag goes up, unless I'm out of town.
If I go camping I take it with me and it goes up at camp.

I fly "OLD GLORY" and the Marine Corps flag on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Veterans Day, Marine Corps B'Day, and lots of other occasions.
Old Glory flies most of the time over my garage.

I have had a small one in the window since 9/11. On Holidays, the large one goes up. |

The stars and stripes fly at my house 24/7 365 days a year. I did take her down last Saturday the wind was. Lowing pretty hard in the northeast. There are only a couple of days a year like that. On vetrans day she is joined by the double A flag (All American) flag for those who maybe asking what is an all American flag, it is the 82nb abn division flag. Usually out on the boat on vetrans or memorial day and I bring them both with me for the ride. They get placed into the front fishing rod holders and spend the day watching me catch fish after fish.

For a long time I was the only one on my block that put The Flag out. Now there are three of us.
Note that Saturday, May 15th, is Armed Forces Day. Please display your Flag.

I'm another 24/7 - 365... If the weather is bad it comes under the roof line
(even though it's an all weather flag, but I go through 2 a year) ...At night it is lit up. I envy the guy around the block though, his is 24/7 - 365, and it's up a flag pole, about 50- 60 feet up, atop a Marine Corps flag both must be 10 feet long, lit up at night, looks awsome!

My flag flies every day and night (it's lighted) unless we have high winds or thunderstorms coming through.

My flag only comes down for severe wind. Otherwise it flys 24/7.
It even has a light that illuminates it at night as it is supposed to when flying after dusk.
