M1 Carbine

Thanks All, I'm looking for a Mix Master M1 Carbine for the wife. My M1A and Garand are just a bit much for her and she doesn't like the black guns!good for me, so here we go. The only stipulation is no import marks, adjustable rear sight and a b.lug, just a good shooter. I had a feeling I should have grabbed a few cans of ammo from the north store in January . Thanks. Dan

I don't know what the manufacturers name is that made commercial copies back in the day. A friend of mine in Md is looking to sell his. If your interested, I will make a call.

I'm thinking around 7 to 8. I spent to much on my Garand build. I'm really not interested in a copy but thanks.

Thanks from 82nd ABN

Dan,
I've got a mix master Underwood that is excess to my needs. It's got a type one band on it but I can switch it out for a type 3 on one of my other carbines if you're interested.
I got it from CMP and no import marks on it. Let me know if you want pics and I can send them to your e mail and give you a parts break down. I'll go 725.00 plus shipping to your FFL. Thanks Dave

Thanks from Dsc

It's a little off topic, but why not go for an SKS? I love my carbines, but pre-crazy pricing, I would think the SKS would be a better deal all around..

Just a suggestion.

I have a feeling your not married, and you're just looking for another justification!

+1 on the sks, especially with peep sights. I understand the not satisfying part tho. Been there done that, solved it when i bought my loaded.
