Disable Veterans & Property Taxes

Just as an FYI, Disable veterans in Utah are given a discount on their property taxes.
Check into it.

In Oklahoma, if 100% rated you are free of all property tax.
And sales tax also if you request the card.

Tennessee also has the property tax paid if you draw 100% VA disability.
You have to pay it the 1st year, but it is refunded to you in a few weeks. Every year after that it is paid automatically.

By the way you get 2 license tags free also.

New York does it by County and/or Municipality. For example, in Broome County, Town of Kirkwood, I received 15% as a War Era Veteran, with in Theatre Service it was 25%. But only on your property taxes where you actually reside.

I wish WA will remove the $35,000 max house hold income rule. If your above that your SOL.

In Louisiana, they freeze the value of the property when you apply, not much else.

AR is no property tax if you're rated Total and Permanent. Vehicle reg and taxes, too.
