Late brother and I are desert deer hunters and some years back we hunted near Palo Verde using my old Jeep and towing a WW2 GI trailer with our camping gear... Heading home on a Sunday it just so happened it was Veterans Day as we stopped for fuel on the way home at Chiraico Summit, CA where there is the General Patton Museum... They were having Veteran's Day celebration and the traffic was terrible.
We were dressed in our hunting camo with my brother with his rifle between his legs waiting in traffic when some ROTC guys pulled us out of line and waved us through traffic to the fuel pumps saluting as we passed!

I will never forget that day!
If you can find Military Vehicles #95 from 2003 you will find an article about my restoration.

Thanks from JEFFJP_N_JJ
