The dealer did not know who built the receiver. The serial number reads ETTxxx. No manufacturer marks on it. Barrel is a Douglas. Twist is 1:10. The stock maker is unknown. There are also no markings on the recoil pad. It has a Redfield Palma rear, and I added the Redfield Olympic front. It had a standard Redfield target front when I bought it. No one else in the man's family was a shooter, so whatever knowledge he had is now gone. The gunsmith didn't have any other records on the rifle, and purchased it from the estate.
I experimented with loads using LC match, and my own reloads using Sierra 168 and 175 Match King bullets. It seems to like the Varget and IMR 4895 powders better than others. I did get the groups about 1.5" at 200 yards, sub-MOA. It's a real one-off. I just finished cataract surgery last week, and my vision is now 20/15. When the weather breaks here in Michigan, it's back to the range with it.I hope this answers your questions.
