Yeah, nasty color schemes but they never come back in stock anyway. I'll give them a call and see what the deal is.

The M3A is one of the nicest stock available for the M1A/M14. I've install a lot of them and found them very ergonomic one of the best when using optics. I understand that McMillan is going to drop them from production and coming out with a new version similar to the A5. I don't know that it will be an improvement.

Thanks from M14vrp and XM25Ren

I did call them Ren,

They said they don't know if and when they will have them available again which sound suspiciously like Ted indicates, without actually saying they are discontinuing them.

Maybe their price point was too high to make and move them.

I was hoping to get one for my Bula build. But I guess that's not going to likely happen.

Thanks from XM25Ren

Like Ted alluded to, I understand that they have an M4A version coming out.

It was "a few" months ago but someone on M14 Exchange (I forget who it was) pre-ordered an M4A and was told that it would be eight months.

If they didn't tell Capona about it, maybe the M4A has been delayed substantially.

Capona, put out a WTB here.

Does anyone out there actually have one of these stock so I know they exists?

I'm talking about the one that has the integrated riser, not the attached saddle.

Ted, do you know if they made the M3A with the integrated riser like they do for the 700, or are they all saddle risers?

So last June I emailed McMillan about them discontinuing the m2a. Through the email exchange what I was told was that the m3a had been discontinued for custom orders, but they were going to continue to make 10 a year and put them up on their online store for purchase.

This is kinda disappointing news, I'm currently trying to trade my JAE Gen 1 for the M3A. There's not a lot of online activity around the M3A right now so it's hard to find anybody with motivation.

The internet is in "nah I'm good" mode right now. LOL

I really like the simplicity of the stock.. does anyone know if it is iron-sight friendly? I have no idea if it adjusts down enough. I'm supposing it will shave a little bit of weight, but really what I'm wanting is for it to feel better off-hand or on expedient rests.

The JAE is great but it is really biased to prone shooting. Also, the Gen 1 saddle is not QD, so it takes a minute to tool-remove it.

Fulton had them on sale', but they only carry the model with the saddle riser.
I have no idea if they actually had them in stock or what wait time that might entail.

I want the model with the adjustable integrated riser and that seems to be a rare animal.
