Lightbulb Stock steaming with baggie

I just got done steaming a stock, and may have a neat trick. After getting the wet towel steaming, I tried laying an unopened sandwich bag flat over the spot. It seems to hold the heat and steam in longer, for quicker results.

Thanks from chief on one

Sitting here drinking my coffee, and reasoned a bit. I suggest a sandwich bag with some air in it. Dead air space is great insulation, so it should trap the heat longer. Just slap it over the wet towel after heating with an iron.
