Fiberglass stock blisters

I recently ordered a Numrich USGI fiberglass stock. For 20 or so dollars I figured it was a roll of the dice. I was suprised when I opened the box. Buttplate metal was in great shape. Front sling swivel is rough but it is coming off anyway. I am planning to put a picatinny rail for a bipod on it. Also planning on having a artist friend of mine do a tiger stripe paint job.

The only issues with the stock are a few blisters. What is the best way to remove the blisters. If I sand them off will there be divot's underneath. If so what should I use to fill them ?

glass blisters

grind them out. fill large holes with tiger hair, fine finish with Kitty Hair, blend, final finish with, feather fill. Same with boats or corvette's glass. 1000m

The blisters are most likely just in the gelcoat or paint. You need to sand them out. As mentioned above, treat it like a fiberglass auto body.
