By far the most gorgeous 'fiberglass' stock I have ever seen!
Congrats on your find!

Amazing! If I was to buy one of the 90% tigers from Treeline, could I end up with something looking similar?

Beautiful stocks on here. I am waiting for a 90% figured walnut. We shall see how it turns out.

WOW! Nice find!

From my experience ... the only time I've been able to truly get the wood to 'pop' like a 'Holograph' was in using Tru-Oil.

Long story short .... many years back I wrote an article for 'Backwoodsman Magazine' where I finished and assembled a 'Build Kit' for a St. Louis Hawken. In that article I used Tru Oil and was pleasantly surprised with the results.

Since then I have used Pure Tung oil on similar wood ... English Walnut ... and always find myself going BACK to the Tru Oil to give me the best character out of those beautiful woodstocks.

I have had others recommend Teak Oil and Teak Oil Finish, but I just haven't had the need to try them yet. Maybe I will in my current 'Walnut Stock Revival' project.
