SAI walnut stock ID

I have a SAI standard made in 1990 according to the serial #. It has a very heavy walnut stock on it with a liner, no ID marks on it anywhere. No selector cutout and has nearly a 1/4 inch of wood all the way around the fron ferrule as well above the liner screws. Any idea of who may have made it?

It was probably made by Fajen.

Thanks Ted and Wasted, 1 vote each for Boyds and Fajen. The inletting is a little on the rough side around the sling and drain holes as well as under the buttplate any help?

Boyds' didn't take over the manufacture of SAI stocks until after Fajen went out of business. That didn't happen until about 1996.

Thanks from m1sniper and Rich D

A lot of the inletting back then was done by hand.
