I have a SAI standard made in 1990 according to the serial #. It has a very heavy walnut stock on it with a liner, no ID marks on it anywhere. No selector cutout and has nearly a 1/4 inch of wood all the way around the fron ferrule as well above the liner screws. Any idea of who may have made it?
Thanks Ted and Wasted, 1 vote each for Boyds and Fajen. The inletting is a little on the rough side around the sling and drain holes as well as under the buttplate any help?
A lot of the inletting back then was done by hand.
