I ordered a Boyd Walnut stock forgot hardware

Can someone please help me identify what I will need.
I have a new loaded Springfield M1A that came with the synthetic stock.
I ordered a Boyd's Walnut stock and hand guard.
What will I be missing?
I have new hardware from my Garand. Will the butt plate fit?
Do I need to order the complete hardware kit or is it economical to piece meal?
Thank you for your time and advice.
I appreciate you.
Jeff

Here's a start. The Garand butt plate will fit, but you need a filler for the top. A kit is probably your best bet for the $. Try gunpartscorp.com, too. Handguard clip, and pliers, too.

Hello,
As long as your new SAI M1A (plastic) stock came with a metal M14 style butplate, not rubber recoil pad. Either/ither.
All, you should need is the metal stock liner and mounting screws.....
You may need two nuts and washers, if your Boyds stock comes without the front sling swivel installed. I would think that their hand guard would come complete with clip though...
That should be all you need for a functional stock. You can use either your rubber or metal SAI butplate. The retaining/mounting screws are the same (for their newer composite/plastic stock). Wood screw on top and machined screw for rear sling swivel on bottem...
So, as a recap, metal stock liner and retaining screws... Should be all you need.

I can mount the rubber butt pad on my walnut stock?
I like the cushion better than a steel plate for sure.
Thanks guys!

Hello,
Yes, you can use the SAI rubber pad on your wood stock and the screws are the same... It says in your title that you live in Paradise Ca. Is that the Paradise, just north of Bishop Ca.???

There is a Paradise just North of Bishop?
We are East of Chico up in the North Valley.
Sacramento is about 80 miles to the South.
This is conservative Pro-Gun Country.

Hello.
Oh, I'm sorry, You live on that side of California. Isn't Berkley and SF also/about 80 miles from Sac.??? Come too the east side of the Sierra, I'm less than 40 miles from Nevada. We don't call our self (pro gun), that' just the way we are..
Heck, we can still list a firearm for sale in our local news papers and/or penny pincher; can you on the west side????
You are in a whole different world/state over there, my friend. Lots of luck on that side of the state...
Most of our LEO, don't even care if you happen to have a large cap. magazines or some evil features on a rifle at the range; (as long as you are not an A-Hole with tats on the face and the sort)... they even may want to shoot your rifle.... or they will let you shoot theirs...
Heck, We are just a bunch of good ol' country boys looking out for each other, AKA redneck/republicans; who don't give a what the west sider/law maker says..
But, of course, that's not me. I'm just a law abiding folk, that always, follows the laws....(trying to pull foot out of mouth)...
Sorry for the rant. But, you do live on that side of the state... It is a whole different world....
