Stock ID help Springfield factory take off

Was described as a 1900's Springfield take offwhen I bought it
I'm thinking it's a Fajen but itís not marked anywhere.
Any thoughts?
Been debating whether or not to use this stock on my 1983 Springfield receiver itís been re barreled with a 1976 SAK NM new in the tube.
Hesitate only because I will need to relieve the top of the stock in order for the receiver to set down.
And donít want to ruin a stock that might be of more use to someone else.
It is a rather thick wrist, just seems a bit thick for my hands

What does the bolt stop cutout look like? Is the ferrule crimped?
