Sage ALCS Vs. Vltor modstock

Looking to upgrade soon and already been sweaty for a while for the Sage, but wanted to get a little feed back before I make the plunge. I kinda like the the Vltor but don't know as much about them, only recently discovered it. In your opinion how does it stack up against the ALCS? Are there other options like these I don't know about?
FYI : will be needing a rails, options for easily attaching fore grip and other attachments, and a buttstock that has adjustable cheek rest. Keep in mind if using price point as advantage.

I have both the sage and vltor stocks, the vltor is much lighter, and more compact.
The rifle in a sage is more accurate.

You're comparing apples to oranges with the Sage ALCS to the Vltor ModStock. I have/had both.

The Vltor isn't built for improved accuracy; it's built for ergos and maneuverability. That's my opinion anyway. I thought it was okay in with my Socom. I would definitely not put anything longer than a Scout in it. Once you add in rails etc, you're bulking up on the weight and minimizing its core competency of a lighter, more maneuverable rifle.

The Sage is built for improved accuracy and it's best used with a rest or a bipod. I don't think I would put anything shorter than a Scout in it.

Once you factor the mods you're looking at putting onto the Vltor, you're in the Sage price range anyway. As with most setups, it really depends on what you're wanting to accomplish with the rifle and what you'll use it for.

Good luck!

That was pretty much what I was thinking too, just wasn't sure about accuracy improvements with the Vltor. I actually just found out about them a few days ago, and kinda liked the look. Got an opportunity to get a Sage for a good price so wanted to make sure it was the best option before I dropped the cash. Probably gonna get it tonight, thanks for the info!
