The final run

THIS OFFER IS CLOSED

I am going back for one more final run to see Jack and pick out stocks. This is it for me. It ends here. I am blessed and grateful that I have been able to do this for so long. I need something to do after I retire and I aim to fill up the shop while i can with projects I can tackle when my wife wants me out of her hair. I am going next week. I am getting all I can afford for myself.

If you want me to select a figured stock for you I am charging a flat $300 and that includes UPS GRND Shipping CONUS. All $ up front non-refundable. I will only accept PayPal Gift Option and only until Monday the 19th. If any of this gives you pause, please do not waste your time nor mine.

If you want something let me know clearly what you want and I will do my best to find it (Stocks only Please). I guarantee species and figure that I would deem acceptable (do a search, you will notice a "theme") and nothing else.

If anyone is interested I will keep a running tally here like I've done before. Please do not PM me about this except for payment/ship to details, it helps to keep it all here in the open where I can keep track.

What an adventure this has been, how much fun have we had learning together? Randy at Treeline is GOOD PEOPLE! He and Mike at Windy City have helped most of us with builds and I am pleased that these pieces of US history are going to find their way into the hands of hobbyist builders just like they should.

The Final Run is On!

I'd like to have a birch stock as he lists here:

http://www.fredsm14stocks.com/M14-Bi...ged-STBD08.htm

....but I want it to be as solid blonde as possible. Zero figure, no stripes. Just a blondie.

What would you charge me to pick one out?

Thanks from Doug Carlton

I am in for a dark, highly figured Birch and a 100% fiddleback Walnut. If a walnut can't be found, two Birch will work. Thank you Wade! You da man!

The end of an era folks! :(

I am glad you are going to be buying as many as you can afford. I come here to learn and see your finished stocks. I have not come close to finishing them like yours but I am trying. I may end up having to buy a finished one from you at some point.

Thanks for offering this! Before I bite, I'd like to ask if you plan on offering up any of your most recent finished stocks for sale in the PX forum.

Yes. Most will be offered for adoption in the PX after I attend to this immediate pressing need.

Pardon my ignorance, but the $300 you quote is for a stock that you have refinished?
