Dear Obi Wood Kenobi,

I've done a very small amount of furniture refinishing and my experience with Teak is after time (years) the appearance tends to darkened (brown). Do you find this on any of your older refinish jobs? If so, is there a fix?

Thanks

Thanks from Doug Carlton

I never take pics of the ones I ruin, I just toss them in the fire and encourage the others to be on their best behavior. works sometimes

Thanks from Dougboffl and hardheaded

Yes, they do get darker over time and patina as well. As I like it, I have not discouraged it.

Doug next time you "ruin" one would you please send it my way instead of putting it in the fire?? One of your "bad" stocks would still out shine any of my best. Beautiful work.
