Posting these for MattC (no relation RNGR2). He dug it out from the back of his family's safe. Grip looks like it just left the factory. Wood is clean and smooth, except for a mark on the right side where the folded butt contacts it. Metal shows a few bemishes.
It will probably end up on his Socom. If it was NJ legal I'd be trying to wrangle it from him. RNGR1
Nice! Thanks for sharing the pics. I like that version the best of all. It has the boss on the left side for support of the front/left sling swivel.
I need to get off my butt and finish the one I am building. I will share pics when I get it done. I just love the way these look and balance/feel.
Ya, I love the look but as already said they are alittle rough on the shoulder but more so on the cheek bone. I couldnt imagine shooting with one in full auto
I plan to wrap the top bar on mine with leather shoe lace material, or something similar, to ease the cheek bone to steel contact. Maybe it will help. I will inform if it does.
Like everything, the prices I've seen some of these sell for in recent times, just boggles my mind.
