Called Jack (Fred's) before his move about any camo stocks he had left, and he said to give him a call back after the move. Well I did that last week and this is what he dug up.
I wasn't familiar with all the patterns by name so I just picked up what he had. All come with matching handguards. I don't plan on keeping them all, so watch the classified section.
Left to Right: Snow, Ambush Desert, Turtle Desert, Rhodesian, Urban, LRRP and Tiger
I'm definetely keeping the three on the right and the Desert Ambush (2nd from the left). I dressed one of my rifles with the Turtle Desert; didn't like it by itself but looks good on a rifle. My least favorite is the snow pattern; maybe one of the forum members from the northern states would appreciate it more.
I like the Rhodesian but the green was only painted on one side of the stock, with the other side only having brown and tan. I assume it was missed when painted years ago, hidden by the old paper I removed. I'm going to send it back to Freds for exchange or refund.
Desert Turtle and my early Springfield. One thing about all the stocks I've gotten from Fred's is how seamless the selector switch holes are filled in.
