It's been a couple weeks and this job is now fully cured.
I took advantage of a price war on Amazon (those can be vicious) and picked up 5 cans for 5$ Each.
I don't know much about this stuff other than its used by the military and has a really official sounding name. From what I can tell is it's very thick and dries fast, a couple guys could spray down a vehicle in no time.
Can anyone tell me what "Maximum hiding on Kraft cartons" means ?
Usually it takes a second coat to cover black without a primer but this stuff worked great with simple acetone degrease and two coats sprayed as thin as possible.
What I didn't like was the color, it's to light for my taste and too yellowish. So I dusted it with a earth colored rustle im through a laundry bag, and that helped darker things up a bit.
I think this will wear well but next time I will use Aervoe (see my scar thread in this forum).we will see how tough aervoe is. This stuff seems every bit as hard and durable as durcoat. I cannot scratch it off with a finger nail... A scratch with a flathead with medium pressurenleave a mark but doesn't take it down to the black. So this stuff holds up great. Maybe it would be a good base coating for aervoe or a camo stencil.
So on to the pics.
Rail ladder is a magpul fde for color reference CENSOREDGI in HDR mode.
