fiebings suede and roughout dye?

I asked my wife to pick up a bottle of fiebings med brown leather dye when she went to the shoe repair shop. The only had the suede and roughout dye. Thats what she got. Will this be ok to use to dye my stock. What the the difference between this and the regular leather dye?

Fiebings makes an outstanding dye. I prefer Luthier grade wood dyes but the medium brown is beautiful on Birch, heavy on Walnut, but you can sand back any dark areas.

The Cordovan finishes curly maple like a GEM. Here's a knife scale in Fiebings cordovan and shellac:

I use Fiebing's regular, medium brown. Can't say about "roughout" dye.
