That's my intention with this thread; to kick off my progress tracking as the stock evolves. I just thought I'd be a little humorous in doing so.

tonyben, this should be a fun project to watch. I thought I read about some solvent that made removal easier, I can't think of it off hand, but it was some pretty ugly stuff. I wonder if bead or sand blasting would help any?

| well, it's just standard GI wood, but the length of pull can sometimes cause premature discharge. if it bump fires on me again i might try shooting lighter loads.
