Just trying to confirm whether or not GI M14 fiberglass stocks use the exact same buttplate assemblies/bolt/screw that their GI wood counterparts use? Or is there any difference in the hardware?

The only difference is that the upper screw is different for the 'glass stock. Its a machine screw that threads into a square nut that is held into the stock by a retainer.

Thanks, patriot. I ordered a "Very Good" class GI fiberglass stock from treeline this afternoon. On this page:

I only see a lower machine screw and an upper wood screw. I'll have to look around for the upper machine screw, then. Maybe Fulton?

Fulton has them. Just ordered from them a week and a half ago. Should have ordered an extra. I prefer the fiberglass and I have had to order them each time I get a new stock.
