Value of Stock

Hey Folks,

I am new to this forum and so if this is posted in the wrong area feel free to move it. I have a question for all of you about the value of an M14 stock I picked up recently. I am not in tune with what a stock like this would be worth and what a fair price to ask for it would be. I certainly wouldn't want to get ripped off or insult someone by asking for a price that was too high. I have the original cleaning kit that in the butt stock. The Grease and oil are still there all the way back from the 60's. The butt plate it self is 100 percent there is not a scratch on it. I also have the sling that came with it as well (Just standard GI web but in perfect condition. The stock has a proof mark on it on the pistol grip if you will with a fat P. Not sure what that means. Here are some photos. Anything you could tell me about it would be greatly appreciated. Also these are jut a couple photos I had on hand if you would like to see a different photo just holler. I couldn't seem to do this stock justice with these photos but I tried.

$40 to $150- It's worth what someone will pay. At $40 you got a great deal (mabey) at $150 you probably paid too much. (maybey). I think the most I ever paid for a stock was $115 and it turned out to be a piece of sh$t that I threw away. I have several that I got for less than $50 that are good.

Looks like it's got all the metal. Walk it around a gun show and see what it'll bring.

Does the fore end of the stock have as much tiger striping in it?
