Talking

Weell, I got a couple of them thayngz.
All WW 2 Springfields but 2, an H&R and a Beretta in 7.62 Nato that I'm building slowly but surely. Won't buy anything but new PB marked parts so I'm still looking for 3 or 4.
This is a 10 yr old photo, I've since added 4 or 5 Garands and a Remington 03A3. Still looking for a Winchester to finish out what I want.
I also have a couple of M1 Carbines - 2 Inland, 1/a repro M1A1 stock & BFA, 2 Win - 1 early and 1 late and an NPM. The 45 is a 1911 US Navy made in 1913.

Here's an old picture of mine. The ones along the wall are IHC's (Arrowheads, SA/IHC PS's, Gap Letters and PS's. Since this was taken 5 more IHC's have showed up.)

On the floor: LL, 2 WRA's, '43 SA, 4.66 HRA, and misc post war HRA's and SA's.

I took some better pictures of my 4 digit Springfield.
The major parts (other than the barrel and receiver) I bought new or traded for. The bolt was new in the wrapper, same with the gas cylinder. I got a new lock bar rear sight and added an un-hooded .595 NM apeture, all the internals were new or as close to new as I could find to include the -65 series trigger group and op-rod.

Fulton Armory had them for 99 dollars less all the metal back in 2003. I need to clean it and give it a good coat of tru-oil.

I'm up-loading pictures of my DGR IHC 7.62 as I type this and I'll be posting them shortly

Thanks for the kind words

heres my DGR International Harvestor. I had her built as a re-enlistment present to me, from me.
The build started as a parts kit I got from AIM back when they were about a hundred dollars. It was mostly Beretta parts, except the op-rod and bolt. The barrel was shot and the stock was pretty well wasted too so neither got used.
I got in touch with Dean and we talked about the build and he helped me decide on a fancy walnut stock and handguard set as well as a .308 barrel. My biggest want in the build was the receiver. I had Dean find an IHC to build the rifle on. While he was waiting for the parts kit to arrive I bought an NOS Springfield gas cylinder and a NM front sight.
When she was finished I had her shipped home (I was stationed in Iwakuni Japan at the time) and I didnt get my hands on her until February of the next year.
