Yes, my club runs a JCG match every other month that I shoot in.

I have a few M1 Garands...

I like to take mine to the range and show youngsters how cool it is. I hope to compete in a 3-gun match this summer with the M1 and my Remington-Rand 1911 pistol. I would love to read anything Art writes! History, stories, tuning.... I'll read it!

I put a few hundred rounds through my M1 every year. I'm always ready for another lesson in shooting better.

42 SA with a VAR barrel, don't shoot it often enough though. Would however enjoy hearing more.

I have an early 44 vintage that is throwing rounds inconsistently which I'm told is more than likely a stock fitting issue. I'd like to shoot her more but I've had other projects jump the line. Any information is always a blessing, and always appreciated.

I have a correct 42 Winchester that is giving me 2-3 inch 100 yard groups...Last time at the range a 10 yoa boy was yelling at his father there was a Band of Brothers rifle here. He asked to shoot it and went through all 8 rounds and it beat him to pieces but the smile was priceless...would shoot it more but don't want to wear out the barrel

I shoot one just about every weekend. My favorite right now is a Shuff's Mini-G.

Art...I have two...a 4-digit Winchester and a 1944 Springfield that has been tuned up by Bruce Dow and will hold 3 inches from a rest at two hundred yards with Federal GMM. The Winchester rarely gets shot but the Springfield is at the range several times a month and always draws a crowd...and NOT because of my marksmanship!

Art Have one and it's a special that I pick out of the rack from the CMP at Anniston with my son two years ago. I shot it last summer in our league 50 round match on Thursdays evening and it's a joy to shoot. It's going to Perry this summer for the Garand match as well as my Springfield for the M1A match. It's going to be a GREAT Saturday at PERRY this year!!!

Thanks from art luppino

Well Mr. Luppino it sounds like there is quite a few of us that actively shoot the Garand. Even the casual shooter here would benefit greatly from any input you can give us.

Why that just isn't fair,(27),LOL I have 5 and making plans for the 6th one but it will have to wait till Summer or so ! I have one of each Manufacture with a double in the SA ! They go to the range with me about 95% of the time, always at least 1, most times I bring a couple with me along with everything else I take ! I swear it takes me longer to get my stuff in the car then it does to drive over to the range ! (Its close,,lucky me ) Have been shooting a lot out to 600yrds the last few years,,lots of learning and lots of fun for sure ! Anyways any extra info or knowledge would be fantastic !

I have a CMP MK2 Mod1 Navy and a CMP Special in 30 06. Shoot at least twice monthly at our club. Also shoot on a buddy's private range. He has over 30.
