Talked to a WWII vet who swore his M1 Garand was made by Remington! (I believe there is ser#1 at SAHS muesuem.)

And how many 'Nam-era vets claim to actually have had an M-16 made by Mattel?

Looks almost like a late International Harvester receiver. It's a step up from the ones the Japanese made.

Funny - I get the "wow, that's a nice M1A" when I shoot my tanker Garand at the range.

It seems to me on subjects like that one...guys not only won't search for what's been posted before, they won't even click on a link provided in a thread to see what's been said...they just launch into a post like..."Well, My Cousin actually had one in Basic Training back in...."
