The parts in question are all SAI w/forged bolt.

Nelson built m1a's are greater than the sum of their parts. They transcend the arguably trival. What this rifle lacks in GI parts, it makes up for in barrel, bedding and craftsmanship. They were built to shoot. No more of the these pieces will be coming down the pike. Thanks for the question.

I have a 1986 Super Match that was a Nelson built rifle. HE was a true legend on the National Match and Super Match arms and his work demands a reflective price. What you are asking for this arm is a steal for someone looking for a tack driver!!!

Sub moa; I do not. These rifles were built with hand selected Douglas Premium Heavy barrels, turned and chambered by a Master armorer.

RHallenbeck - I stated it was "priced to move". Times being what they are, I attempted to split the difference and pass along a fine rifle to someone that could appreciate it. I have owned Glenn's rifles in the past, as well as this one, and as far as I am concerned -he wrote the book!

My $.02 worth, try to get a photo of the area of the barrel that you see when you lock the op rod back. The late Glenn Nelson used a signature roll stamp on some of his later builds.

On mine not only did SA tell me it was a Nelson but also mine has the heavy op rod guide that is dovetailed into the Douglas barrel then silvered in solid as was SOP of Nelson..
