reminton riot question

greetings. i have a question about the front sight on my remington miltary 11. at some time the front bead was removed & a, i think the term was "ray bar" front sight installed. i want to install the correct bead front sight, but i see two types. the single bead & a bead with a small "platform" under it. which one would be correct for a military remington 11? thanks

Bead would be correct.
Platforms were aftermarket except on the polychoke. Many of the polychoke versions were used to teach B17 gunners in WWII.
Unless it has the military bomb on it its not military.
The original I have the front bead site is copper or brass.

thanks hawk. it is the military riot, 20" barrel, flaming bomb proofs & marked "military finish". kinda an ugly light gray color. fast handling gun, but will knock your fillings out when you shoot it, like any recoiling barrel gun. i will post a pik when i can.
