Thumbs up Priceless!!!!!!!!

That is one lucky lil' Lady & just adorable.
I'm sure those two will make a great team.

No amount of $$$ could buy my ol' Model 29.

Apparently, these rifles were made by High Standard.

Two beautiful things...your daughter ( I take it ) & the rifle.

I want my grandson to have mine..when I'm done with it...lol
Grandson ( 5 1/2 ) likes firearms also. Imagine that!!!!!!

I bought one of these at a yard sale three or four years ago for $40. The guts were almost solid guck but it cleaned up beautifully and shoots well. It's one of the very few rifles I have that shoots the Federal Walmart Bulk ammo somewhat accurately. I don't care much for tube-fed autoloaders but I kind of like this one.

If you need to know anything about them, go to rimfirecentral.com and post in the High Standard forum. There are several guys there who are very sharp on them. I think there's a link there where you can download an original factory manual, too.

Does yours have the roll-up sling in the stock? Gimmicky but kinda cool.

Mine doesn't have the sling-in-stock. I posted a question over there about the extractor but didn't get any info... it took me 22 years to find the proper extractor and spring. (not that I was looking the whole time or anything.)

The Model 29 is pretty much identical except it shoots 22 LR only; mine supposedly shoots short, long, and long rifle. But I've never tried anything other than LR as there's not really a point to it and the others are pricey.

That thought has occurred to me. If they were still being made (and not somewhat collectible these days), I'd be tempted to **** one up BAR-style a little.
