Fancied up my 10/22

Here's some stuff I picked up at the gun show I was just at.

Boyd's SS Evolution ambidextrous stock. This is laminate with the textured black coating that was limited run.

Butler Creek carbon fiber barrel. First time I've seen a carbon fiber barrel in the standard contour so I had to pick it up. I've been wanting a new barrel but couldn't find a good one that still lets me use my irons. This is it. It was also discontinued I believe.

I weighed it in at 4.6lbs with the tri-mag. This is EXACTLY what I've been wanting for my Rimfire Challenge matches and I now have all the perks the guys in Open class have but I'm still in Limited with my iron sights.

I plan to Dominate.

Cool! How much does the barrel weigh compared to stock?

Looks great! Need to put some Tech Sites on her. I added 1.5lbs of lead to mine but I'm looking for accuracy not speed....O.L.

That is really nice looking upgrades, I am hoping to get my 10/22 into a better looking set of clothes also.

Aperture style sights are the opposite of what I want for the Rimfire Challenge. It's solely about speed. Large steel plates and I've never seen them in a match past 40 yards. Just like Steel Challenge, but all rimfire.

Just need to take the fiber optic sights off my old barrel and stick 'em on this and its good to go.

fancied up 10/22

Check out the True Shot Technology sights,I put a set on an older 10/22 that is in a Thompson sub gun frame--Very accurate over the stock Ruger sights( wouldn't anything be an improvement tho??)

Nice setup. I've never seen a standard profile CF barrel-good grab.

Makes me want to hide the Mighty Liberty Training rifle build.

That is a nice rifle. I've been fooling with the idea of another 10/22. Some inspiration here.

Love the stock and composit barrel. 10/22 rifles can be awesome. This one is set up for rimfire sillouets. All Volquartsen Stainless in B&C stock, Leupold LRT 8.5 - 25, AWC suppressor. 1/2 min rifle.
