I have the exact same rifle, different scope.

The 10/22 Target models come with a target-grade trigger from the factory. Mine breaks clean at about 3.5 lbs. Don't waste your money on target trigger parts.

The only thing you need is a large quantity of quality rimfire match-grade ammo. Mine LOVES SK match grade available from Midway USA and others.

DO NOT use Remington bulk .22 ammo - it is junk, followed closely by Federal bulk-grade. I have never had an issue with any CCI .22LR and I have shot A LOT of .22LR.

Actually, forget what I said about match-grade ammo. It makes shooting boring because you keep making these one-hole groups in the target without hardly trying

Use the bulk-grade. Your rounds will impact all over the target and you'll have plenty of jams to keep you occupied...

Finally it shows...and blurry....anyhow...its mostly Clark Custom...with CCI standard velocity it centers at 50yd every pull of the trigger...these are very fun rifles to "make what you call your own"...

Only solution is to move back! I was born and raised in Idaho (been here for 30 years) and travel there once a year to visit family and hunt whitetail and turkey. I love the hunt but always look forward to returning to Alaska.

The 10/22 is an amazing rifle and I'm sure the newest mods would impress the heck out of me. Haven't kept up with it lately. However, I can tell you this. I normally shoot between 40 and 50 snow-shoe hare every winter and within the past four years don't think I've made anything other than a head shot with this rifle.
