| Anyone here try the Timney trigger module for the Ruger 10/22?
In the process of putting together a 10/22 just for fun. Picked up a "donor" gun cheap, dropped it in an OD green Hogue overmolded stock, got a fluted/threaded Tactical Solutions barrel, EGW lightweight picatinny rail and a couple of other doodads. Gonna top it with a Burris FastFire II. My goal is to have a super lightweight plinker and play gun, ain't plannin' on competing with it or anything. Eventually, it will be a suppressor host.
Last thing I got do is something with the 6.5lb trigger. Was gonna buy a kit and tune it up myself, didn't wanna pay over $200 for the Volquartsen or Power Custom trigger groups, when I came across the Timney. They have a good rep and I've used 'em before in other systems (Rem700, Rem870, Rem788, etc). I can get one for about $140, and that's about the top end of what I'm willing to pay for a trigger for my plinker.
Wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with them.
