Help a youth compete in the Junior Olympic National Precision Air Rifle Competition.

Ashton is a high school student from Waycross GA that has been invited to compete in the Junior Olympic National Air Rifle Competition.
The Competition is in Colorado Springs, CO on April 7th,8th and 9th 2017.
Ashton's father is trying to raise $2,500.00 to help with airfare, hotel and meals.
Ashton's high school will provide the rifle, pellets and equipment he needs to compete.
There is a GoFundMe page set up for donations.
So far they have $910.00 of the $2500.00 needed.
Ashton's father Micheal originally posted at the AR15Armory web site, which is one of the firearms forums I frequent.
I have donated a couple of times to help out with what I can.
If you can see fit to help this young man and his father out, please do.
Multiple people giving $5.00 or $10.00 donations will add up quickly.
So if you can, please help.

Here's the GoFundMe link.

Thank you,
Glenn

Just wanted to thank those that contributed to raising money for Ashton's
trip to the Junior Olympic National Precision Air Rifle competition.

The $2500.00 needed was fulfilled last week.
Ashton's father Michael originally posted the need at the AR15Armory forum.
If you want to follow how Ashton does in the competition. His father will be posting updates there.

Again, thank you!
Glenn

Well the competition is over.
Ashton placed 108 in a field of 177.
Day 1 he scored 584.2.
Day 2 he scored 590.4.
Giving him a two day total of 1174.6.
Champion was Logan Ogden, his total was 1251.1.

Glad the young man got a chance to shoot against a national field of competitors.
Competing against the best is a real chance to learn and hone your shooting skills.
Ashton's father is working and saving up now to get him to the next step. Small Bore.

Thanks again to those that gave.
Glenn
