Range time

Any one in Memphis that belongs to MSSA and wants to meet up with me, I will be on the 100 yd covered line. There is a match this morning, but I'm not gonna be shooting in it. I'll be the one shooting 14 type rifles.

Took a guy that works at my "new" job with me. He is converted. He no longer wants an AR. We had a blast. My bud had a couple of old 22's and we got them zeroed. They both shot much better than they looked. And we burned up a bunch of ammo. We shot mostly at 50 yds, because it has been months since I shot. He couldn't believe we could shoot as well as we did with iron sights. I bottomed the elevation out and came up six clicks, windage was good and with some practice started shooting 2 inch groups. By the time we moved out to 100 we were tired and hungry. At least that is my excuse. Groups opened up considerable. I wish the range was closer. At least all the construction on the way is finished and I can drive it in about twenty minutes.

I realize this will be a bit of a zombie thread, but I've not been on the site for a while and missed the post, or I would have been there. Although to be fair I have spent most of my time on the pistol days lately
