Here are a few more. Not all that interesting, but prior to being there (this was my first time) I don't recall seeing any pics of the pits, or of Lake Erie.

The way I shot that day, I didn't need a target

Slammed at work this week. XXIV Corps helped get me access to the forum back that I'd lost when it changed hands.

Thanks from Phil McGrath and XXIV Corps

This is how the ranges look at FL 360, coming back from the E. Coast, FWIW.

I believe that is what God created the lakes for.

Only the occasional boat or jet-ski that checks out the "Hey look at the fish jumping over there!". Not too many cease- fires this year. They were also fairly short.

The area behind the ranges are also Restricted Areas for aircraft, which means you can't fly through them. They are listed on the aviation VFR sectionals as R5502A&B and are hot at different times. Besides the NMs and other shooting events, CP is a test bed for some heavier weapons, or at least it was in the past.

So what kind of groups win these competitions? 1 MOA? Smaller?

Not saying that I could ever do that well but I imagined the top shooters shooting tiny groups. Sure would like to see some groups if anyone decides to post any pics.

If you know how to read the scores then that can help answer your question.
