If possible, I'll be there. Have some things to do before (prepping), but at bare minimum, I'm going for rattle battle and when not shooting, I'm slated to be at one of the vendor's booths, showing the product.

Funny, I still have ties into Uncle Sugar's misguided children after all these years. I was taught to shoot past 400 yards by a Nam era Sniper. I do have a nice new Jacket, glove and prone pad for it. I can't use my Cheater sling as much as I love to.

I know I'll see some of the M14 forum guys there, always do. We should all get together one night and have a drink? What's the name of that place with the M14 hanging over the bar. Nick's Road house in Port Clinton I believe... somebody pick a night during HP week.
Ahem!! In all fairness, that's EBR! For evil Black Rifle! Nope, not me either!

I don't need no stinkin .22s!

*IF* I get the time, I need to load up a new Accuracy round to shoot and since the barrels fairly worn, I'd like to get one of my new Kreiger's on the rifle (medium match grade). Love to have a McMillan M3A on it, but I doubt the "officials" would approve given the headaches over JD Woods oversized NM stocks years ago. Just look for an old fart wandering around looking lost, that ought to be me!

I've wanted to go to Perry for a lot of years, always something got in the way (mainly work). I'm going to bust my chops this year to get there for the fun of it. Besides, I'm obligated to be at one of the Vendor booths.

But I do hope to hope in the rattle battle mobile and get up there with a Garand shooter. I have to beat that 30-06 snob!

Of course I've already promised him I'd go through the rifle first. Thank God I'm about to ship my action wrench and barrel vise back east in the next week or two. All my tools are headed back east ahead of me.

I am a Californian and I hate it here. First thing I intend to do back east is go play with a Thompson. I just wish I still had my Star press. I used to crank out 900 rounds of .45 an hour with it.
