I know there are several members here that live in the central Florida area. For those members, I would like to extend an invite to join me in Saint Augustine’s Ancient City Shooting Range Sunday Jan. 29th for a 2 gun match. The match is being hosted by the Florida Defensive Carbine Club. Cost is $20 per person and sign up begins at 9:30am. I am told that you will need a carbine rifle, .22 rimfire and up (200 rounds of ammo) and a handgun (100 rounds of ammo). Bring mags and everything you need for a day of shooting. I will be there shooting for and representing my blog, www.locknloadblog.com. Anyone interested in going please PM me so we can meet up!

22 rimfire is a blast to shoot in a tactical match. I won a course of fire at a tactical turkey shoot last fall with my 10-22 LTR. It was that target where the bad guy pops out from behind the hostage . . . I had the edge (less recoil) over the centerfire guys putting 5 shots into the bad guys head . . it was something stupid like less than 2 seconds

Wish I was down there in Florida, I would love to shoot in that match!!
