S/N 8041. M14A

HRT 7790186 Bolt
H&R 7790190 Barrel

Are these USGI parts? Does anyone have any idea when this rifle was manufactured? Thank you in advance.

USGI Harrington & Richardson Arms chromium plated barrel
USGI Textile Machine Works bolt

Federal Ordnance, Inc. M14A serial number 8041 was manufactured in late 1989 or early 1990.

Lee,

It sucks that you aren't able to edit the OP and keep the list up to date. I am very impressed that you were nearly able to pinpoint the the serial number of the rifle that changed from M14A to M14SA (within 140).

Great work.

Thanks from Different

I have a federal O M14A designation serial # 8258. Got it in 94 off a co worker and I know he bought it used. It was and still is in great shape. I have a new SAGE EBR on Back Order that its going to settle into. I'd sure like to know what twist the barrel is, can find anything that identifies it. The bolt is also a TRW designation.
