If it were me, I would buy a Springfield Armory, Inc., Fulton Armory, Smith Enterprise, Inc. or LRB Arms rifle.

Ok thanks for the feed back. I will have to start looking at springfields, since the fultons and lrbs are a little out of my price range.

Smile Armscorp

I got Armscorp receiver 157-- from SARCO 7-8-99. It was assembled w/ TRW bbl. and bolt with the rest mostly WRA parts. It was a very long wait to get it then. A friend of mine bought a Poly and just used the rec. to assemble one with US GI parts. Any receiver was hard to get then.

Armscorps

I have Armscorps receiver sn. 15759. It came from Sarco 7-8-99. After about a 6 month wait. My ffl keep wanting to cancel the order. I had a hard time with him. He just didn't know how hard receivers were to find then. A friend of mine bought a Poly just for the receiver.

Hello, Can you tell me about A005177? I bought it a month ago online. Don't know anything about her history.

The receiver was manufactured about August 1990 by Armscorp of America.

Thank you!

I apologize for not thinking you within a timely manner! Had a bad go around shortly after your reply. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. But will be doing so very soon. Thanks again, Different!

Different,
I was referred here by a friend at SnipersHide and I must admit it was worth it. I received a rifle from Jack at Armscorp several years ago before he left the business and he told me it was one of the first receivers he produced and it had been in his safe the whole time. He had the armorer rebarrel it with a TRW barrel. I believe its marked Silver Springs MD with SERIAL NO. A10000. In his defense, he was very ill at the time and it did take quite a while to get everything squared away but it shoots well and appears to be a bona fide "preban" rifle. Can you shed any light on this saga? I've spoken with Armscorp in the past and they have no record of the rifle even existing.?? Any help will be appreciated.
John
