How many issues can you spot?

I saw this video and about cried. Someone please educate him. There is no wonder he is getting 12 MOA with the M1A. I wonder who told him to "adjust" the gas system like that. Also, that scope mount! Connected to the barrel and receiver... Not a good idea in my opinion. What do you guys think?

Here is the same vid at youtube...

Thanks from ConRich and MrM1A

I cringed when he snatched the trigger group out like he was starting a chain saw.

Well he sure didn't understand the m1a gas system. I think it's self regulating..

Blasphemy

For starters.......he says he "isn't a fan" of our beloved rifle.....so screw him...

Secondly...he shouldn't be reviewing a rifle he is not a fan of and not familiar with by his own admission on both counts...

Couldn't watch past the first 3 minutes give or take a few wasted seconds.....

Yep. He is not only uneducated on these rifles, he is badly misinformed. He needs to join our forum and do some reading, I think.

Question

The M1A isn't his. It belongs too his brother, he won it as a door prize. But be that as it may why didn't you invite him over too our forum so we could educate him.

Thanks from JEFFJP_N_JJ

Did anyone notice he's waving this M1A around with rounds magazine, and the magazine is locked in the rifle, not very smart.

Thanks from ConRich, Dougboffl and Nelson54

Must say he has a clever way to adjust the gas system??? Actually I don't believe watching this site or any other site would impart much knowledge to the fellow, but as mentioned he is already dedicated to an entirely different firearm platform and doubt any amount lessons would change that dedication. Some folks get confused with the facts.

At around the 5 minute mark....

I can't believe I've been "adjusting" my gas system wrong all these (several) years!

He obviously has no understanding about the M1A. You guys are right, he should read this forum for a few years, learn all he can about the M1A and then try to make a video again.

Thanks from ConRich

Just ask anyone at any range to see if they can identify a m1 Garand or a M14, you'll be surprised. This guy definitely doesn't know his M1 variants, probably grow up adoring black rifles.
