It's exasperating, I tell ya. I guess I better stop talking to that one.
I really give you guys some credit for trying. Hopefully anyone that clicked on that vid to learn something sees your posts.

I checked out his facebook page and here's what was posted yesterday...

Sometimes we make ‪#‎mistakes‬. It's easy to get worked up about it when it happens, especially if you don't make them very often. When I screw up (happens a lot) I ask myself a few simple questions. 1.) Did anyone die? 2.) Did anyone bleed? 3.) Will this cause anyone to bleed or die in the future? If I can answer no to those questions then it's really not worth crying about.

If he's referring to this video then it's pretty clear he has no intention of removing or editing it nor does he care to learn. Lost cause?

Thanks from unkola

Every village has one!
One would think before broadcasting it he would have RTFB. But... There ya go.
As my mom would say, bless his heart.

As one of the M14 Defense Squad members on the M14 Flagship I had a little battle with some "O Patches" guy on there and every negative thing he tried to come up with to bash the m14 was countered with experience and facts.....finally I think he gave up on me. Thank god and good riddens if he did. I was getting a little anoyyed but my vigilance would not be undone.

Yea, I saw that. He kept bringing up the same link. No experience of his own, just another internet warrior. -Lloyd

The only similarity between the two is the caliber.

CENT ME ? uhhh what? you mean CETME ???

I'm going to extend an offer to purchase that obnoxious-poor-shooting-M1A from him or his brother for the generous sum of $350 (he pays shipping).

Actually -
I like TonyBen's helpful/technical posting to the VSO YouTuber. We all could call this a lesson as the VSO YouTuber is kinda like the liberal anti-2A crowd. We need to embrace them and offer to educate in a non-condescending way (assimilate). Bashing never wins anyone over. With VSO YouTuber getting dinged by everyone there is no chance he will ever find favor with the M1A platform or M1A/M14-type crowd. We were all new at this once. I know, we don't make videos decrying our expertise but I still think we could use a softer edge on those who just don't know better. This forum has been a huge help to me and I know many scores of others. Think of what it would mean to our community if, because of a helpful hand extended, VSO became a M1A-fanboy - then you got something positive out of a negative situation. Same reason I give free handgun safety classes to new shooters. Get them educated and assimilated.

Thanks from tonyben

You have a good point.. being diplomatic and trying to be helpful is probably the way to go.

However if someone is taking the time to make a youtube video in order to make their opinion public or compare products then they should at the very least perform their due diligence to research the topic of the video so they at least have some kind of an idea of what in the hell they are talking about.

Thanks from tonyben and Dougboffl

I completely agree!

Maybe this is VSO's sign?

I already got dib's on the rifle. I offered 750$ or a C308 since we all know how much greater a C308 is this is a killer deal.

She's got to be Southern. That's a phrase that definitely doesn't mean what it says on paper. Not down here.
